The Department

The MITERA Children’s Hospital 2nd Pediatric Ear-Nose-Throat (ENT) Clinic has the necessary clinical experience to manage and treat pediatric conditions relating to its specialty, as well as a wide range of pediatric ENT procedures.

Apart from conventional procedures (adenectomy, adenoidectomy, myringotomy, cervical cysts, bronchoscopies, removal of foreign objects from trachea, bronchi, esophagus, etc.), we have significant experience in otosurgery. In this context, we treat extremely acute cases, such as intratemporal and intracranial complications of acute otitis media (mastoiditis, sigmoid sinus thrombosis, epidural abscess), as well as chronic ear-related cases, such as tympanic membrane perforation and cholesteatomas (using open or closed method).

We also have significant experience in endoscopies on neonates, infants and children under general anesthesia with spontaneous breathing, as well as endoscopic procedures on the larynx (supraglottoplasty, removal of cysts, etc.) and the trachea.
