Within the framework of its offer to the public, MITERA Paediatrics Clinic visits the Greek regions to support sensitive population groups. So, after the fire victims of Ilia Prefecture, a mission team of 30 members from the MITERA Paediatrics Clinic consisting of Medical, Nursing and Administration Personnel visited Anogia in Crete from 30th of August to 2nd of September in order to offer diagnostic services to all the children of the town and to stress the importance of sports for children.

In particular about 200 children were examined, where many of them were found to be obese, while one kid was diagnosed with indications of juvenile diabetes. Further to the speeches given in the village Central Square, in a special event, offered the citizens the chance to learn from the Manager of the MITERA Paediatrics Clinic, Prof. Christos Bartsokas about child obesity. At the same time, the head of the Orthopaedic Department of the Clinic informed the public about orthopaedic issues of both adults and children.

At the third day of events at Anogia of Crete, a football tournament took place in which the MITERA–LITO Employees team, Aetos of Anogia (fourth league), Aris of Rethymnon and the Sport Press Association of Crete have participated.
