MITERA: A new chapter in ocular oncology with the Ocular Oncology Center Pediatric and Adult
MITERA has announced the establishment of the first and only Ocular Oncology Center Pediatric and Adult in Greece, a state-of-the-art Centre that redefines the standards in the diagnosis and treatment of ocular tumours.
The Centre is staffed by an exceptionally specialized interdisciplinary team and provides diagnostic and therapeutic services for benign and malignant eye tumours in both adults and children. Particularly noteworthy is the ability to offer a comprehensive approach to retinoblastoma, which makes the Centre unique in Greece.
As one of the leading Ocular Oncology units in Europe, the new MITERA centre is equipped with cutting-edge, state-of-the-art technology, featuring devices of which no equivalents are found in any other Ocular Oncology centre in the Balkans. Additionally, patients have the opportunity to participate in worldwide clinical studies, ensuring access to the most innovative therapies.
