{"id":8469,"date":"2018-04-25T10:23:47","date_gmt":"2018-04-25T07:23:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.mitera.gr\/geniki-kliniki\/plirofories-gia-nosileyomenoys-kai-episkeptes-genikis-klinikis\/"},"modified":"2024-04-18T14:43:25","modified_gmt":"2024-04-18T11:43:25","slug":"plirofories-gia-nosileyomenoys-kai-episkeptes-genikis-klinikis","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.mitera.gr\/en\/geniki-kliniki\/plirofories-gia-nosileyomenoys-kai-episkeptes-genikis-klinikis\/","title":{"rendered":"Information for patients"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"content_header\">\n<h1>Your Admission<\/h1>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"content_page\">\n<p><strong>For your admission, please bring with you:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Valid ID or passport<\/li>\n<li>Health booklet<\/li>\n<li>Copies of any medical information relating to your hospitalization, e.g. X-rays, diagnoses, medical test results<\/li>\n<li>Hospitalization card or any other proof of private health insurance<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Patient Admissions staff will handle the admission procedure and will ask you for:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Your personal details to issue your admission form, which has to be signed by you.<\/li>\n<li>The room type you prefer.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Insurance Coverage<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Before you are admitted, contact your insurance agent to find out exactly what your insurance policy covers. Bring your policy number with you.<\/p>\n<p>To find out which insurance companies MITERA is affiliated with, please contact Patient Accounts (T: +30 210 686 9117) Monday to Friday 8:00 am \u2013 2:00 pm.<\/p>\n<div class=\"content_header\">\n<h1>Your Discharge<\/h1>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"content_page\">\n<p><strong>Discharge Procedure<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As soon as your discharge has been finalized by your attending physician, you will be contacted by a Patient Accounts officer to settle your bill.<\/p>\n<p>The bill is finalized and any outstanding balance is paid on the discharge day. The Patient Accounts Department is open 8:00 am \u2013 7:00 pm on weekdays and 8:00 am \u2013 4:00 pm on Saturdays and Sundays.<\/p>\n<p>We accept payment by all major credit cards, cash or check, as well as by deposit to the MITERA bank account. A bank branch with an ATM (connected to interbank networks) is conveniently located on Level 1.<\/p>\n<p>Discharge must take place by 12:00 pm.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Upon leaving MITERA General Hospital, don\u2019t forget to take with you:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Your invoice<\/li>\n<li>Your discharge form<\/li>\n<li>Your personal items<\/li>\n<li>The invoice issued by the private-duty nurse (if you used one).
