Any functional disorder of the thyroid gland can lead to a variety of symptoms that can affect drastically patient’s quality of life. Apart from functional disorders, thyroid gland may have morphological disorders, such as thyroid nodules, which are quite often, may have no symptoms, but sometimes may reveal microcarcinomas that require specific attention and specialized handling
